Based on Q's unemployment experience (the job market is TERRIBLE in this town), I would answer your question with a firm "YES." Q is always busy job hunting, and if not job hunting, he's busy doing some kind of work around the house.
I'm glad you've got some freelance work lined up, and I wish you all the best in your job search. :)
PS: You haven't been on lj for a while, so you may have missed my post. If you'd like to be in on my lj posts about my pregnancy (I try to avoid TMI as much as possible, for the record), just let me know. I created a filter for my pregnancy, because a few of my friends range from disinterested to all out phobic, so I made my pregnancy stuff an "opt in" thing. I don't want to make anyone uncomfortable! I also wanted my lj friends to know that any of them are welcome on that filter if they want to be. :)
If you scroll down in my journal a bit, you'll be able to see a couple of pictures of the 4D ultrasound we had done. It's probably the most exciting thing in my pregnant filter.
ugh, D was laid off for almost two years. He was constantly job hunting. I've got a job and I'm constantly job hunting as well tho. XD;;; it's like shopping for food when you're hungry and you've only got $5.
I've been okay! i managed to get my machina boys and another 42 cm girl pro-cast and released... that's probably been my biggest accomplishment. I moved out to California, got a job doing 3d art for a really small video game company, it's been good. I just want to move on to a large company now. How's it going with you? I'm sorry to hear you lost your job. :<
How awesome. Are the dolls still available anywhere? Someone at the group here just asked me about one of the boys today. I'm glad you found a fun job that takes advantage of your talent. I bet that big company is just a matter of time.
I've been great, aside from the job. I'd been saving up before it happened, fortunately, and I have enough contacts that I should be able to freelance until I find something permanent.
Job hunting is always exhausting. If I hear anything I'll let you know, but I'm glad you're getting some freelance work in the meantime... <3 Love you to bits! <3
