Does unemployment always make you busier than ever?
It's odd being laid off after so many years of working at the same place. I've been fortunate to pick up freelance work already, and that will keep me busy as I start my first week off my regular job. I am surprised by how exhausting job hunting can be, though!
I signed up for charity work on Friday, and it will be good to help out in the community. I'm still lucky compared to the folks that the food outreach is helping.
And if you know anyone who needs a freelance developmental editor, let me know...
