Homework check

Before I left for Skövde last week I gave a homework assignment of doing something nice for yourself every day. I've enjoyed seeing that homework assignment referred to in some of my friends' posts.

My mom started out by trying to report on something she'd done for herself each day, but after just two days she came to a conclusion which says a lot

I bought some plants and started planting them. I bought yellow roses and planted them in honor of my mother. I took an hour each day after work and decompressed outside in the back yard just watching the birds and little creatures in the woods.

I really tried to think of something special to do, but couldn't find anything. I suppose I could've gone to bed earlier than I usually do (before midnight), which would've been a nice thing to do to myself. Now when I've mentioned it, perhaps I can begin the week of being nice to myself today...
