Wallowing? Never! [Open like an open thing.]

Snow Angel had to admit that baking really made her feel better. Despite the fact that her mother, Lavender Sugar, was better at it than she herself would ever be (likely thanks to being a unicorn), the scents of ginger and cinnamon and other spices just had a way of lifting her mood. It was something that most parts of being a weather pony really ( Read more... )

"You look lost," a voice from above called.

Having absolved herself of her delivery duty, Snow Angel had been on her way back home when she'd noticed the unfamiliar pegasus pony wandering about beneath her. She landed deftly enough, tilting her head.

She offered him a tentative smile. "You need directions or something? I'm Snow Angel, I live around here, so I can probably give you a hoof, you know?"

That earned him another headtilt, but Snow restrained herself from laughing at him outright.

"You're not from around here, are you? Well, you've stumbled past most of Bridlewood proper, and you're heading towards Bridlewood Drift. That's where I live, my parents have a house there. My mother's got her business there. I was just delivering a mess of cupcakes for her." Snow Angel tossed her head, and grinned.

"So who're you then? Or did you just literally fall out of the sky?" Poor guy seemed so skittish! Well, the least she could do was try to put him at ease.

"You could always come back home with me, have some apple cider and a cupcake, and try to get your bearings," Snow said.

And then one of the baskets just lifted and trailed down towards the forested area down below. Whoops! What must have happened? Maybe they weren't as well tied as they thought? Regardless of the case, the basket disappeared into the thicket.

If you were to approach the area where they were in, you'd see a dark colored pony, relaxing under one of the trees and enjoying the 'spoils' of 'war'.

"Oh man, these things are buckin' great!"

Not that Snow had time to do that at first, she had to catch the other basket that was, even now, falling without its twin. And then she still had that delivery to make--which meant she had to replace what she'd lost.

It took her a lot longer than she expected. So by the time she actually got back to the scene of the crime, so to speak, she was more than a bit tired and dishevelled.

And, probably, lucky if she'd even find the perpetrator...

It wasn't like Shadowheart was trying to hide, so just being in the general area of where the first basket had 'fallen' would yield the result of seeing him still munching away. Thought by this time, he was all but done with the entire basket. Hey a growing pony's gotta eat.

He raised an eyebrow at the approaching pony and smiled, knowing all too well that she had been the one carrying the delicious items. Thought for now, he'd play dumb.

"Hm, looks like you've been through hell. What happened to ya?"

"I was trying to deliver some cupcakes I baked to my dam's client. But half of them flew away--literally," Snow Angel said sheepishly.

"I don't suppose you've seen anyone else pass by here?"
