Snow Angel had to admit that baking really made her feel better. Despite the fact that her mother, Lavender Sugar, was better at it than she herself would ever be (likely thanks to being a unicorn), the scents of ginger and cinnamon and other spices just had a way of lifting her mood. It was something that most parts of being a weather pony really

Having absolved herself of her delivery duty, Snow Angel had been on her way back home when she'd noticed the unfamiliar pegasus pony wandering about beneath her. She landed deftly enough, tilting her head.
She offered him a tentative smile. "You need directions or something? I'm Snow Angel, I live around here, so I can probably give you a hoof, you know?"

"You're not from around here, are you? Well, you've stumbled past most of Bridlewood proper, and you're heading towards Bridlewood Drift. That's where I live, my parents have a house there. My mother's got her business there. I was just delivering a mess of cupcakes for her." Snow Angel tossed her head, and grinned.
"So who're you then? Or did you just literally fall out of the sky?" Poor guy seemed so skittish! Well, the least she could do was try to put him at ease.
"You could always come back home with me, have some apple cider and a cupcake, and try to get your bearings," Snow said.

She shook her head, tossing her mane so it'd manage itself, and snorted a little. "I mean, if you don't want to come, that's fine, it's not like I'm going to make you. I was just trying to help you out. All I wanted to know was your name, but if that's too high a price..."
Snow Angel shrugged. She'd noticed his blank flank already, but since her own cutie mark had taken its sweet time showing up, she wasn't about to point it out. She was turning to move on to her home. Warm apple cider sounded really good.
"You can come along if you want, though." Just to reiterate that. Some stallions could be so hardheaded...

"Well, no wonder you're lost." She just shook her head at that. "You can stay over, it's not like the house isn't huge. You probably need a place anyway, right? At least so you're not outdoors. Unless you want to try to find a hotel somewhere, but it was pretty crowded for the movie premiere. I have no idea if you could."
One sigh later, Snow gave him a smile. "It's nice to meet you, anyway, Thundercracker. Don't worry, it'll be okay."
There was a long, slanting path leading up to the Drift, probably for earth and unicorn ponies who lived there. It was that path that Snow Angel headed for, picking up the pace with a swish of her tail.

Snow Angel shrugged her shoulders and ducked her head. "Well. I sort of tried to follow the kidnapper, but I got lost. It was...pretty embarrassing, to tell you the truth. I haven't heard anything beyond that, so I hope the princess is all right."

"You've seen her, then? That's a good thing. I...wasn't very brave, I guess."
Snow Angel reared a little, and then nodded her head at a bungalow style two story house that they were approaching. "That one's mine. I don't know if my parents are home, but it's probably not a big deal if they aren't."
If they weren't they wouldn't ask questions. If they were...well, she'd think of something!
[Cool! I'm also assured she's fine. I'm gonna be a bit slower, gotta cook dinner. :)]

"As for siblings? Not a one. Only child, that's me," Snow Angel said, with a resigned sounding chuckle. She wouldn't have minded a sibling, but it hadn't happened. (Never mind she kept hoping that was a 'so far' and not an absolute.)
She pushed through the door carefully, and trotted towards the kitchen. The house was still redolent with the scents of baking. "Mom? Dad? I'm home!" Snow Angel bellowed.
Not a peep was heard in return.
