As promised, here's some picspam from my trip. As I'm not very technologically gifted, I can only hope it works.

That smiling seal is begging me to jump in his tank and slap him with his own fins!!! :O
Penguins! Dolphins! Turtles!!! EEEEEEEEEEEE!

Loooooove the stop wearing fur sign. AMEN! Keep 'em coming, these are wonderful!

I agree about animals in captivity, to an extent, but I also agree that it's important for people to see them in order to connect and learn to love them and care about their plight. (see from my icon that sharks can be cute ;) )

Here's that cute one I told you about: http://www.aquariumofpacific.org/ANIMAL_DATABASE/ASSETS/39.jpg

The animals were all so cute. Well, especially the sea mammals and penguins. And the rays. And the seahorses. And the turtles. I wanted to swim with them all. We'd play and stuff. There's just that bit about the water being cooler than I'd probably be able to withstand for more than 10 seconds ( ... )

Somehow, I got the wrong icon. Here's the one I meant to use.

I talk to animals too, how can you not? ;)

I only go to zoos that treat their animals well. The Central Park zoo is awful, which is why we didn't go this time.

I am proud! Good stuff! I think learning about sharks helps people to see that they can be beautiful and that they're important for our eco system. Some are just flat out scary, but for the most part they are misunderstood.

I see the icon below, and agree with the bathing method ;)

I love the pictures, thanks for sharing =) I love going to the zoo and stuff - if it's a good zoo, that is.
It's nice to know that you had fun on your trip
