I love the vegrecipes community. It's the best. I've gotten a lot of great ideas from there.

Regarding A Trip to the Dentist, I'd like to ask RT how he feels about the final resolution of the rape storyline. Does he feel ambiguous about it? Does he feel that it was perhaps trite in the scheme of things and that it was perhaps a little too dismissive of date rape? Did he find it at all difficult to put Veronica and Duncan back together in a sexual, romantic relationship, given what transpired?

And excellent questions. I too thought that wasn't...as messy as it should have been. I'd feel weird about dating someone who'd had sex with me when we were drugged and never told me because he was afraid I was his sister! 0_0

(not to mention never defended me when his friend's put me down)

I always forget about vegweb.com. I really should remember to visit there more often.

Duncan's having sex with Veronica, while believing she was his half-sister and while she was drugged to limited consciousness, was indefensible. His lack of defense in her regard when Logan and Dick would start in on her was also indefensible. The lack of apologies for both of these things is also indefensible.

Hi. I hate Duncan. Those are just some reasons why.

Also, did you see that I posted some Hot Hot Heat? I'm not sure if you've heard of them or have anything by them. They're great. A lot of fun to listen to. And they're Canadian.

Thank you for the tip! I love Hot Hot Heat a ton, the lead's voice makes me happy but it drives my husband to distraction. I haven't had a chance to buy the latest record so I love that you posted some of those songs. They are one of those bands that seeing them live has been a challenge for me. I had tickets to see HHH open for Weezer and Foo Fighters Halloween weekend and I had to miss the show. Before that, each time they've been here in LA I've always had something else going on.
