..."Gran Torino" is all kinds of awesome. I love those mean old faces only Clint Eastwood can make, and I love all that cussing he does. I laughed my ass off in places, and my eyes welled up a few times too...and I watched the credits all the way to the end, which I really never do. I wrote about this on Facebook, but I do really recommend this one

Blueberries were off the chain this year. There were so many that I stopped picking, because my freezer is full. There are STILL more out there, I guess I should just go and pick some...soon. :) At least the birds are happy.

And I now have chickens to occupy my time...six of them. I'm currently getting 4 eggs a day, and much lols out of the whole thing.

I like Barred Rocks. Ours never got too excited about anything, and they were dressy.

I have 4 ISA Brown and 2 Australorp hens. The ISA hens are sweet and friendly, while the Australorps, being a little younger and not laying yet, are shy and one is a little aggressive. I'm watching that bird, and it better not be a rooster, or away he goes. I pick them both up every day and hold them to my chest, put my hands on them and tell them they are MY birds, and they better watch their shit. Not literally, as they are all shit factories, but figuratively.

I caught "Gran Torino" recently, too, and loved it. Wasn't quite sure until the end where it was going to go. Nicely done.
