Last night was good. I rolled-up to the comic shop around 6pm and hung out well into the night. There were a bunch of dorks playing D&D in the back room so for the majority of the night I was plugged into my iPod to drowned out the distractions as I drew. Whatever mixture of chemicals / imagination I've had floating around in my head lately have been giving me very enjoyable dreams for the last 3 weeks. It's so strange in that when I lay down to sleep at night it feels like I'm embarking on some epic adventure - I truly have a season pass for slumber-land. So this week I've set myself up with a task. I need to get some sequential art done - a narrative that I can try and convey some meaning or message. COPiC Brush Pen: I've been using one of these for awhile now. I really like them cause they are refillable w/ Copic ink cartridges and when the nib gets worn-out you can replace those as well. I haven't slept this good since I was in the womb. This past Comicon I demanded someone bring along an air mattress for me to sleep on since I always sleep on the floor in the hotel. I sometimes wonder if I'm becoming an Alcoholic. Since I've basically gone from making $13 an hour to nothing to getting paid in cigarettes, sandwiches and petty-cash; I haven't had the funds to "self medicate" myself anymore.
