As of this week, we have officially paid off all our credit card bills that were accrued during our move to Chicago in October! Seeing that $0.00 balance is a thing of beauty.

At this point, the only debts we have left are my student loans, and those aren't going to be paid off for awhile so we're not too worried about them.

I haven't paid a credit card bill since '04. I blame my ex (the coke addict one, not Kevin. We're still together!). I wish for all collections people to go through what I did in life, maybe then they'd stop calling me. Scum. They all probably live in Parkdale and do collections to support their coke habits anyway, because who would really want to DO that for a living, right?

Anyway, is there anywhere in north America where house prices aren't insane? I'm always looking at houses, but they are always around 500,000+, even in the deadest of suburbs. I looked through the real estate catalog in fucking CALGARY, last time I was there, and piddly little shitbox houses in the SUBURBS were listed abouve 400g. WTH?
