This is my first ever brynette fic. . . comments would be nice. Hope you guys enoy it.
“Good Morning,” the blonde woman said when she felt the red head move.
“Oh my god, Lynette?”
“Yes Sweetie. What’s the matter?”
“What . . . what happened?”
Lynette sat up on the bed and looked at Bree. “You don’t remember?”
“Well no.”
“Oh well, don’t worry, its nothing bad. You called me. . . and you sounded a little drunk might I add, and said you wanted to talk to me. So I came over and you told me that Rex thought you poisoned him. You didn’t wanna be alone so I stayed with you. What did you think happened?”
Bree felt a little nervous now, she didn’t know if she should tell Lynette what she thought. “Oh. . . um. . . nothing. I was just startled to find you in my bed.”
Lynette smiled, “Well I better be heading home, I have to make the kids breakfast.” She began to get off the bed.
“Lynette?”
“Yea, sweetie?”
“Thanks.”
“Anytime.” Lynette made her way out of Bree’s house and into her own. She walked in and found Tom sitting at the kitchen table a little upset.
“Where the hell were you?” Tom almost yelled.
“Oh my god Tom, calm down.” She walked over to the table. “I was with Bree. She had just found out some terrible news and needed a friend.” She leaned in to kiss him. But he resisted.
“You could have called! I was worried sick!!”
“I’m sorry it won’t happen again, I will call next time.” She kissed him, this time he let her. “Now, wanna help me with breakfast?”
“Nah, I’m ok.” He walked to the couch and began to watch tv.
After breakfast, Lynette headed out for work. Before driving off though, she wanted to check on Bree. She headed towards the Van de Kamp residence.
*KNOCK KNOCK*
“Bree open up its Lynette.”
Bree opened the door, “Hi Lynette.”
“Are you ok?”
“Yes, I am fine.”
“Ok, well I just wanted to make sure. I’m gonna go off to work, now. If you need me don’t be afraid to call my cell phone.” She hugged Bree and placed a kiss on her cheek. “Bye Sweetie.”
“Bye Lynette. Have a good day.” Bree closed the door and touched her cheek where Lynette had kissed. “She is amazing,” Bree found herself saying without realizing.
Bree did her usual housework, but strangely found herself thinking a lot about Lynette. Not just because she thought she was a good friend but she thought about kissing Lynette’s tender lips. Why had she started feeling like this? She soon found herself waiting at the window for Lynette’s car. It was 7 pm and Lynette had still not pulled into the drive way. “Where is she?”
“Where is who?” Danielle questioned.
“Um . . . Lynette, I have to ask her something.” Bree tried to sound convincing.
“Okay, why don’t you just call her?”
“I want to ask her this in person, not over the phone.”
“Um ok.” Danielle walked upstairs to her room.
Bree watched her daughter go up to her room before turning around to see Lynette’s headlights before she went into her driveway. “Oh thank God.” Bree grabbed her phone and called Lynette cell phone.
Lynette looked down at her phone and saw Bree’s number. “Hi Bree. What’s up?”
“Hi, can you come over?”
“Sure, just let me tell Tom, before he gets mad again.”
“OK, bye.” She hung up the phone.
Lynette headed up the stairs and to her bedroom, where she found Tom. “Tom, Bree wants me to go over. I am sure you can understand. If I don’t come home tonight, you know she needed me to stay the night. Ok?”
“Sure, go ahead.” Tom said a little disappointed. “Can I get a kiss?”
“Of course.” She jumped on top of him on the bed and kissed him. “Will you miss me?”
“Yes!”
“I will miss you, too. Bye. Love you!”
“Love you too, bye.”
Lynette left her house, still in her work clothes. Crossed the street and headed towards Bree’s doorstep. Bree heard her footsteps and her heart almost jumped out of her. She tried to calm herself. “Ok, Bree you can do this.” She told herself.
*knock*
“Come in Lynette, the door is open.” She saw the door knob turn and she almost screamed.
“Hi Bree, you feeling ok?”
“I just need you to be here for me, ok?”
“Sure Sweetie, whatever you need.”
Bree so much appreciated her friends kindness. Lynette pulled her into a hug. “I love you Lynny.”
“I love you too Sweetie.”
“No, Lynette, I don’t think you understand.” Bree looked Lynette in the face and kissed her lips. It was just as pleasurable as she had hoped and fantasized.
