one of my coworkers took a pic of the xf poster that came to the theater and sent it to me.. we got 4 of them.. as soon as i get into the building on saturday ill be working to take at least one home..
awwwww i'm slightly jealous because i miss judo ...though i hated it, and my coach was more mechanical than anything else. i do wish my coach was like yours.
Awww...I'm sorry you hated it, AND that you miss it. I can't decide if it's good that you quit because you hated it, or if it's bad because now you miss it. Oh, well, there are other fun things to do. :D
Fun fact: A whole lot of Remember the Titans was filmed in Atlanta, including some scenes at my high school (Druid Hills), the stadium we used to play at at my magnet school (Adams), and some other schools (Grady High and Sprayberry High). I remember a lot of hoopla when the movie came round to film. They paid the extras very well. :)
Ooh, that's really cool! Did you get to be an extra, or were you too young (I remember I was in 7th grade when it came out; they took us to see it on a field trip)? One of my friends got to be an extra in the new Indiana Jones movie when they filmed at Yale; I was so jealous, but I was out of the country. :(
I didn't get to be an extra, but I know a girl who did, and she got a good crop of money for it. If it was 2000 when the movie was made, I was in...fifth grade? Maybe sixth. It was a long time ago! Not too many movies film here, aside from Tyler Perry's stuff.
Love both those movies! And I favorited the ending of the real game on YouTube, so I can watch it any time I want - although I have to admit, watching the movie is a lot better for me because I can see the characters' faces and it's better-shot. The excitement was very palpable in both, though.
Yeah, that's why I prefer the movie, as exciting as the real game is: you've gotten attached to the characters, and they show their faces, and it's all really personal, you know? I really love that movie. :D
