Ice-skating, is it..?

[ There might be something very sliightly awkward about talking normally right now, since she of course can't really stop thinking about that happened during the horoscope event, but.. well, it's been more than a week already now, and they live in the same house either way, so with some effort she manages to put up her usual casual pokerface attitude. ]

No, I've never done it before. I don't mind going there, but won't I just make an idiot out of myself in that case?

[It would be a lie to say he didn't expect some awkwardness from her, on retrospective it was clear that back then she was affected by the experiment as well. The difference between them is that after thinking seriously about it Keiichi is still dead set in what he did and decided, so what if the experiment pushed him a bit, it doesn't make it any less real.]

I'm not an expert either, so probably we will just make idiots of ourselves. But if no one is watching it should be okay, we can learn together.

Fine then. I expect you to not be setting me up for some lame hidden camera prank or whatever.

[ Slipping back in her usual deadpan is still the best way of dealing with this until she can figure out her own feelings, really. But they are undoubtly there, it's just.. she really doesn't know how to deal with them, and she constantly feels like there's still something holding her back, keeping her from taking that final step.

... The courage for that final step.. just like that night on the skyscraper, wasn't it. ]

Did you want to go right now?

If I were to make a prank I would be more creative than that, and not make a fool of myself in the process.

[He laughs lightly before he hums.]

Unless you have anything to do...

Isn't that a bit plain?

Ah, that's true but I mean that just seeing the lights is a bit boring of a plan.

[Why are you filtering something like this to a kid, Keiichi...]

Ice fishing. Baking. Still life painting. Rock climbing.

[Just because he's a kid doesn't mean he can't have ideas. He has them though some of them are a bit neutral.]

You would take a girl to do those things?

[You said it didn't have to be romantic!! ... Besides, Loki doesn't do carefully planned dates.]

The main attraction in a date isn't the scenery, but the person you're dating. Spending time together is the most important aspect.

[There's a difference between not necessarily romantic and stuff he would do with Minato. And what difference does it to be accompanied or not when doing still life painting?]

... You have a point there. Still I don't think she would have fun doing still life painting or ice fishing.

['Christmas, huh? And the snow... Makes me think of Nagato. Of course it does. This kind of disruption in the schedule is like moving from one hemisphere to the other...']

If my command of Western movies and culture serves me properly, "all I want for Christmas is you" is the typical policy.

Uhm... Well, I know she's very familiar with the Western culture and all...

[But it's something imposed rather than something she liked by herself.]

It's also kind of why I wanted to do something with her beyond just gifts or whatever.

...Let me see what other chestnuts I can think of, then.

Well, actually, chestnuts are one of them, right? And a fire. The weather outside being frightful, et cetera.

[Humming...]

Sitting around a bonfire, making chestnuts and watching the Christmas lights of the village?

[Maybe something else rather than chestnuts.]

I wonder if we're getting a similiar 'Santa' like last year again.

Personally, this would be my second Christmas here in Luceti.

If we do I hope I get new DVDs, I've already watched all the ones I got. Or maybe painting materials.

[Or just materials for his handworks, since he decided to do gifts with his own hands -at least partially-, he has been raiding the item store for those more and more.]

Really? It's my second Christmas here as well, which month did you arrive in?

I'd like some more books on things I'm interested in or some new music.

[His MP3's library can get old after a while.]

Around...near the end of August or so.

Music? You mean in discs and such or in those mp3 things that some people have?

Oh, then I'm your senior, I arrived on February.

[Laughing a bit.]
