[There's a difference between not necessarily romantic and stuff he would do with Minato. And what difference does it to be accompanied or not when doing still life painting?]
... You have a point there. Still I don't think she would have fun doing still life painting or ice fishing.

[For that matter he would prefer to paint her. He gets to enjoy her company and be able to stare at her without looking too much like a pervert.]
It's hard to tell, she doesn't make an habit of showing what she enjoys and such. But so far everything I have done for her or with her seems to have been of her enjoyment.

[Definitively. Technically they weren't dates but...]
We played a card game together at the Brigade headquarters, took a walk around the forest while I was a bear, another one around the lake and back to the village when I was human that night... I sent her on a treasure hunt quest and then we had lunch together and now I'm going to get her to ice-skating.
[And they have spent an insanely amount of time indoors together talking or doing so through the journals, generally about Bernkastel until she left.]

Relatively low-key, then. Though there's nothing wrong with that.
[So nothing too flashy...] You could always take a trip out to the hot springs. [Pause.] If that's too forward, you can try simulating in the Battle Dome.

[He pauses to think...]
No... Not really. Hinamizawa isn't that different to Luceti, and though doing a simulation of the dump could work with Rena I don't think Ange would like it the same way.

Yeah, a dump. She liked to go and do treasure hunting there. You know what they say, what's trash for one man may be gold for another or something like that.
[But really, nothing wrong with finding it strange. He sure found it strange at first too.]
Those could be fun even if they aren't places I've ever seen. We could see them for the first time together anyway. It's a great idea, thanks Loki!
Ice fishing. Baking. Still life painting. Rock climbing.

You would take a girl to do those things?

The main attraction in a date isn't the scenery, but the person you're dating. Spending time together is the most important aspect.

What is her idea of fun?

All right, tell me what kind of dates you've taken her on so far.

You mean simulating the hot springs? Or just some other place?

[He thinks Battle Dome technology is sacrilegious(!!) but people who can tolerate it might as well use it to their advantage.]

At the very least, it opens up possibilities. Zoos, night festivals, batting cages... Essentially, you have your pick of the litter.
