Thanks for opening up my polls, mods! Man, the first one was the hardest for me. The first three episodes are like one long episode to me and I love every part of it. Voted for 'Bags in the River' though.
It's interesting to see that some episodes are already starting to stand out as clear 'favourites' amongst their initial grouping.
As for overall winner, I'd have to say that I think Fly, Face Off and Box Cutter will be right up there.
I voted for Pilot from the first group because I honestly think it was the best first episode I've ever seen of any show ever and I was hooked on the series from the opening shot (which is rare).

It's easy to predict the winners of some of these mini-polls. Grilled, Peekaboo, 4 Days Out and One Minute are probably certs for the Top 16. Others are harder to call. Like tomorrow there will be a Crawl Space Vs End Times Vs Face Off poll. How do I choose between those three??

I had to pick "And the Bag's In The River" because that's the episode where I fell in love with Marie after she stole the shoes, haha. BUT IT'S SO HARD TO CHOOSE BECAUSE ALL THESE EPISODES ARE SO GOOD ashgkajhgadkjg (picking between Sunset and One Minute was the hardest for me, I think)
Oh maaaan. I had so much trouble deciding! I ended up almost mentally flipping coins, heh.
But I HAD to pick the Pilot, and ABQ for sure! The Pilot's the kick-off that shows Walt's ability to fake-out people under pressure (poisoning the hit men!), and ABQ because well, hell, MIKE EHRMANTRAUT.
I always forget that Mike gets his debut in ABQ! It's a great moment when he comes in and takes charge of Jane's death and Jesse's devastation.
Looks like The Pilot and Bags in the River is going to be the closest race this round. If they draw for votes I'll put them both through and have one poll of three.
Campaigning is certainly permitted. I'm afraid I voted against the Pilot but it was a hard choice and I wouldn't be sorry to see it win its heat. If it remains a draw both episodes will go through and get matched up with different episodes in the next round.
Pilot and ...The Bag's in the River are among my favourites!!!! It's too bad they're in the same poll and only one will move on.

I'm afraid 'The Pilot' has taken it by two votes. You're right that 'Bags in the River' might have won if it had been on a different poll. I would have picked it over any of the first four episodes of S3 for example. But in the end this tourney is about finding one favourite episode. If an episode can't win its heat it's not going to win the final poll.

I don't think I could name one BrBa episode I dislike, only some that were less memorable overall. Also it's hard when certain episodes don't standalone but are part of longer story arcs.
Fly and Four Days Out are the only two episodes that really feel like standalone stories. Other than that BrBa has memorable moments even in unremarkable episodes (like, the last two minutes of 'Over' for example).

Phoenix vs. ABQ was another thought choice.
