I don't post much, unless I'm feeling really passionate about something and none of my friends are available to vent to.

So, when I make a facebook status to vent about something, I don't want people to comment on it and say, "well, it helps to put our problems in perspective, other people are dealing with poverty and illness" because you don't even fucking know me. You don't know that my problems have driven me to suicidal thoughts and self harm. Speak for yourself. -

1.) I lose ALL respect for writers who post WIPs and don't finish them (unless there's an extreme circumstance--not just some "life getting in the way" or "lost my muse" bullshit). I know that might sound unjustified as I don't post my own writing, but I'm an English major, guys. I write. And as a writer, I believe that it's your responsibility ( Read more... ) -
It's been a while
So, I was in London the last time I posted! That alone made me sad. I miss London terribly. I never thought about how homesick I would be for London after living there for such a short time, but as it turns out, four months is enough to make me tear up about once a day just thinking about crossing the street or riding the Tube, and I really miss ( Read more... ) -

I may be the only American in London awake to hear this news at 4am, but I've had a shot and a beer and I haven't slept yet, because I'm celebrating for all of them. Well, that was anticlimactic.
Big Bang was pretty disappointing this year. Fewer stories worth reading than usual (though there were, of course, some epic stories of awesomeness--they were just few and far between).
