haha. you should've just skipped to the last 5 minutes cause honestly, that was the only good part. (when you finally see what was going on with julia roberts and bradley cooper's character)
Great choices! I like that you have special categories. End of the year lists can become rote, so it added some fun to the proceedings. Superb choice for best animal performance. That poor chicken.
Ugh, 3-D. A few of the animated films last year actually made 3-D seem worthwhile (How to Train Your Dragon especially), but mostly it just seems like a waste of time and money. Alice in Wonderland was one of the worst offenders in that regard. 3-D added absolutely nothing to the film in terms of depth or texture, and half the time you couldn't even tell the movie was even in 3-D.
Thank you!! Haha, I think my mom has actually done the same thing with the chicken. Like she once bought two chickens for the backyard cause they produced amazing eggs and one time, she accidentally fed the chickens leftovers that had some chicken meat. LOL.
I think HTTYD is the one exception to the rule. I've heard a lot of critics say that it was the most effective use of 3D they had ever seen and that it actually did add to the experience. I remember seeing Up in 3D last year and honest to god, the movie had less 3D than the Disney castle title card. lol. It's just an easy way to rip off moviegoers.
