The beginning of the school year with no classes or teaching is weird. I *LOVE* back to school time. I roam the aisles at Target, lust after stationary, and consider getting a new planner even though I use my phone for everything now. it's frustrating to have to schedule only shorter runs at the beginning of the day because i have to be at the office at 8:30/9 - it's just not realistic for me to be able to get in anything above a 3-miler. i'm wondering if it might not make the most sense to see if i can do pilates at my gym in the morning, alternating with a short run on the treadmill or some climbing, and keeping my longer runs to afternoon/evening workouts.
ideally i would like to be running 2x per week, going to yoga 2x, and spending 1x on another activity - climbing, pilates, weights - so as not to burn out.

UGH. but what I really need to to is quit feeling sorry for myself about this and to get off my butt (out of bed?) so: thank you for the inspiration!
