Anime or manga? Both? Both, both based on an eroge (which is the one I'm taking him directly from). Plus there's an anime movie! Also video games!
Are you okay with 4th walling? Absolutely - he's looked up doujinshi of himself and been traumatized, it's fine.
If yes: Anything not okay to mention? Nope. Issei will scream at her if she gets too embarrassing, but it's not like I don't embarrass him more.

Anime or manga? Both? It's a PS2 video game RPG, with a manga based on it.
Are you okay with 4th walling? Totally.
If yes: Anything not okay to mention? Nope, you can talk about anything! The cast has been post-canon for two years now, and Naoto has been fourth-walled before.
Anything else you'd like to add? Naoto is perceived as a boy by most people who don't know her true sex, and even those that do know her true sex still tend to think of her in more masculine terms. So feel free to have Harumi mistake Naoto for a boy at first, if she's not familiar with Persona 4 canon.

I've built quite an extensive headcanon regarding countries we don't see in the anime/manga yet (like the rest of the British Isles and Portugal for example), so I guess it's just a note for that if it ever comes up in any threads :3 (I'd be interested to see how Harumi reacts to it, ufufufu.)
