Yay~! Puppy~! I'll stop by tomorrow to pick her up! I already have everything ready for her, so she'll be super comfortable once she gets here! C:
Capoeira~? That's...a kind of martial art? Both you and Kirihara-buchou are involved in it? What's it like? Do you do lots of fighting? Are there tournaments for it like in tennis? Can I come and watch your event~?
Like I told you, you better take really good care of her, Urayama. All of these puppies are family to us and we won't accept you neglecting her at all.
It's a mix of fighting and dancing, so it is a martial art of sorts. Yes, both me and Akaya practice it. Akaya just started though. It's not easy and it takes a lot of concentration and practice to do the moves. Do something wrong and you could seriously hurt both yourself and your opponent. There are tournaments and we will be entering in them. I'm not sure if Akaya will be ready in time for the Newcomer's tournament, though. But we'll be trying. ....And no. You can't. >>;
I promise, sempai~! I'll take really good care of her! I won't let you and Kirihara-buchou down! And I know she'll probably miss her daddy, so I also promise to bring her to see him often!
Sounds like it's a lot more complicated than regular martial arts. But I'm sure Kirihara-buchou will be really good at it just like he is in tennis in no time at all~! And then he'll crush everyone in that, too~! Eeehhh~? Why not~? :C I promise I'll stay out of your way! I just want to see what you're talking about!
I'm going to hold you to that. And that'll be fine. I'm sure Goku and Gohan will be more than happy to see her whenever she visits.
It's not too complicated. Just requires a person to learn how to be very nimble on their feet and how to make a split-second counter to their opponent's movements. Heh. And yeah. He will. ^^ Because it's not a public event. If you really want to see what we're doing, you can come to one of the tournaments when they take place.
I hope your grandfather's health issues subside. I understand what it is like to have a grandparent with failing health. You always wish you could do something.
Thanks, Yagyuu. It's not been easy for us watching him end up like this. And the fact that he's on the other side of the world just makes it even more difficult, since we can't just simply drive over to his house to see him. I can't go with Okaa-san when she goes to see them this time, but hopefully my entire family will be able to make another trip out to Brazil during summer break. I just hope nothing happens to him before then. And I hope it won't be the last time I get to see him when we do finally get there.
Thanks. We'll be working hard at it so we can all join in at the tournaments. ^^
You're welcome. My grandmother's decline was quite difficult since she was living in the same house as us. I don't know if I could have handled her living on the other side of the world. I hope you are able to visit. Perhaps your family could bring them back to Japan for the remainder of his life, that way you could see him more often.
I'm sorry. It's hard for me, but I imagine it must've been even worse for you since you had to watch it all happen to her on a constant basis. Still, you got to be by your grandmother's side until the last of her moments and I envy you for that. I...honestly hadn't thought about that. It's a possibility, and I just might mention that idea to my mother and see what she thinks. I'm sure she would be happy with the idea, though I don't know how much my grandmother would like the idea and my aunt probably wouldn't be too happy if we tried to move them further away from her, since she does live relatively closer to them. But thanks for the suggestion.
Thanks. I don't think there's much you can help with, though. It's just a matter of hoping he's able to fight against what is taking its toll on him. And hoping that I will be able to see him alive and well still by the end of the summer.
Sure. You can come with us when we head back home after practice and pick him up then.
Though I do strongly dislike a few people. Mostly my aunt and...a certain Okinawan who will remain nameless.
Lumped in with that awful woman you call a relative...You wound me, Hage... Though, you know...you're the only one doing the disliking in this whole equation....You seem to have something against the way I am and you have a habit of saying things to piss me off...but I don't hate you. The kid thinks you're someone worth his love and attention and he'd do anything for you...so that makes you a decent person in my eyes....I don't expect you to be my friend, but give me a bit more credit...I'm not out to make your life miserable. Trust me...If I was, you'd know it. I like Kelphead...so do me a favor and just put up with me if you can't bring yourself to like me
