So, as some of you are aware, my birthday was yesterday. It kind of sucked because I was so scheduled with church, and chamber singers/Kindergarten performances.

Chamber Singers was not rehearsed and it was painfully obvious. She had people doing solos and some went well and others really, really didn't. My solo was fine; I was nervous.

I'm so sorry I was late. I slept through my alarm, and then when I did get up, no one was there to drive me. I apologize greatly. We should hang out sometime soon, and I'll do something to make it up to you?

It's fine, hun. I was so busy cleaning, if you'd showed up at 11, you kind of would have been on your own for awhile.
