horray! another billy joel fan!dukeofmuffinsSeptember 22 2005, 10:27:02 UTC
sry. i just like his music so much. its good to see more fans.
anyway, yeah. i find it easier to talk to extended relatives, friends, sometimes strangers, about things, rather than my parents. then again my parents are poo-faces and wouldn't care much anyway. maybe there's trace of guilt for burdening parents with our problems as we get older (especially with all that we give them growing up), so we try to consult others to keep from stressing out one person.
then again this could all be totally unrelated, in which case i apologize. i do to tend to ramble out of place.

Wow. I definitely had to look at this twice to figure out who you are. My humblest apologies.
As for And So It Goes, we're just singing it in choir. I like it, but the rhythms are a pain in the ass.
I used to talk to my mom a lot. Not just about my problems, but about everything. And now we barely talk at all. I suppose that's just what happens with the whole growing up thing.
I hate burdening people. It makes me feel guilty and awful. But at the same time, I'm selfish, and most of the people I do talk to about my problems assure me that it isn't a burden. When I really need to talk I just have to tell myself, "If they say it's not a problem, I'll believe them."
Your ramblings are generally enjoyable. I say this mostly because you actually have opinions about the things you talk about.
