There is nothing legal that can be done? You're not working, you have a baby, medical problems...? I can't believe he did something so low. And that Tom and Susan let it happen *sigh*
Well, when I moved back to Canada I was looking for some coverage and was going to go through www.coverme.com -Manulife. Also, Sun Life used to be my cover in University. Worth a look to compare prices. Do you think I could add you to my plan when it kicks in in January? Hmm... Iwonder.

what a fat load of hairy fucking shit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just can't believe he can get away with doing that to someone. I think it would be worth looking into with labour relations. I would also take some time to lodge a complaint against him with the better business bureau. It won't make any difference to your situtation but it will make a mark on their record. I am only still there because of sandra but there is really on 3 of us left. that and the fact that I am not going to need to have a job for much longer.

I have to admit that I am tempted to quit over this.

i think that i just might lodge a complaint with the bbb. not sure how much of a mark it would leave but i might get some satisfaction out of it.

i talked to sandra yesterday. doesnt seem like the same place at all. i was kinda on the fence about coming back, even just to work part time. but not now, i wont even think of it.

if i thought you quitting would hurt this shithead in any way, id be all for it. but i think the only one that would feel any kind of shake up, would be you. but i appreciate the sentiment. thanks hun. =/

Hey B...the fact that they're doing this to you is bs. One place you can check out coverage wise is blue cross...They cover pretty much everything and you can choose what you want covered.

Other then that, don't go back. If you can't find a job closer to home, I can definately help you get a job where I work. It starts at 30k a year and benefits very similar to VIP after 3 months...and it's a way better job. They also hire part time if you're interested. I'm not sure what the pay rate for PT is tho :o)

thanks for the heads up hunny. we'll have to see what im going to do when the mat leave runs out. =/ we could probably swing it, but i hate being tight for money. so part time is looking more appealing all the time.

Any time :o) If you wanna check out the place I work, you can here:

http://www.triplecrowncs.com/

It's a blast. Busy...but the people rock and there's not really the favorites game there is at VIP...Totally unstressful compared to VIP...Only downside really that I can think of for you might be that it's open 24/7/365 BUT if you're looking at part time I'm not sure what the hours are like and I'm sure you could work something out.

If yer interested (anytime) let me know 'cause while you can apply through the website (I think) they not only take your application way more seriously if someone already working there gives you props, but I would get a bonus that I would split with ya :o)
