Oh sweetheart. That isn't even the armpit of the south. That's where other southerners think people are snobs. Take my word for it. I grew up all over Texas. I thought I lived in a boil on the ass of the south. And in some cases I was right. Oh, but how I was underestimating places like Eastern Louisiana, Alabama, and the infamous Mississippi.... Believe it or not, it does get worse.
Yeah, it could be worse - and by worse, I mean Houma. **shudders**
But still!! I don't want to live in the goddamned third world! If I have to tolerate people around me, they should at least be *civilized* people instead of these flippin' yard apes!
I'm just waiting for the anally fixated (no pun intended) neighborhood coalition to finally get around to sprucing up Water Tower Park like they did with Pioneer Park. (Which is all fancified and nice-looking now that the Publix is just next door, but still reliably ghetto.)
Oh, I realize there ain't no hobo culture like Bay hobo culture. There's a good reason why I don't want to live in SF (well, many). But nonetheless, this is a *suburban* park in the "Unfriendliest City to the Homeless" in the country.
