Pod makes a wonderful narrator; the self-doubts and fear that live alongside the determination and courage are all captured here, as well as showing that he may lack for quick wits but still sees things far more clearly than most. I loved how he was permanently correcting himself with the Ser and My lady routine, and his boyish, rather adorable crush on Sansa. This made me laugh like mad: Well, he’d thought her gentle until she’d stabbed Baelish in the eye, but she was still lovely.I also loved his fascination with Brienne and his awe of her fighting prowess; he never mentions her face but, like ( ... )

The choice of words, the pacing, the narrative... It's simply wonderful.
Podrick really is a character I've never thought much about, but this certainly made we want to get to know him better.
I find Petyr Baelish' character interesting, and I enjoyed you showed much of his diversity in his final scene. And Jaime away from Cersei is awesome!
I'm writing this in a sailboat on my iPad with little battery, so I better stop here. But you've really got me eager for more!

Thank you SO much for your lovely feedback. I'm pleased that you liked the Pod chapter enough to want to know him better! Glad you liked Petyr, too; he was a lot of fun (if 'fun' is the right word) to write. And yes, Jaime away from Cersei is delightful, isn't he? In case you hadn't noticed, my OTP is Jaime/Brienne. Who do you ship?
The news of you being on a sailboat just made me smile! I hope you had a beautiful day, and thank you again for your kind words. :D

I've been watching the HBO series and read some of the books, but I'm not up to date on the books. No worries about spoilers though, I've already been spoilt quite a lot. For some reason GoT is a series where I don't find spoilers ruining things when watching. Not a lot, at least.
I'm very fond of Loras/Renly. And I love Sansa as a character. Jaime has really grown on me, and even if Jaime/Brienne may not be my OTP, I certainly like them!
Vacation on a sailboat is great these days, when summer in Norway actually is summer! Sunny, long, warm days. We don't sail very long, but have lots of time for bathing and just enjoying life :-)
I hope your summer is great too!

I'm growing to love Sansa, too, particularly after writing her chapter (which will be chapter 4 in this series. (I've just posted chapter 2, Brienne Part 1 of 2).
Oh, sailing and sunbathing sound divine! Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! :D
