My goal was to get it posted within three months, as opposed to the six months of the prior gap, and the ONE YEAR of the gap before that, lol. I met my goal, with two weeks to spare, woo hoo!!

Baby Brat is great, and you're right, he's running all over the place, keeping me on my toes. :) The added benefit of his motor development is that he naps longer because he's more tired, hence my newfound writing time!

I'm glad you liked the way the Cullens used all their assets. I wasn't sure that would come across, seeing as they were isolated from each other in the Volturi cells and couldn't really plan any sort of attack. Leave it to Jasper to save the day! I'm pleased you liked that description of Jasper; that's him to a T for me. :)

I don't know if I can express how good I thought this chapter was. The angst, the emotions, you are so good with writing all of it down. I've found it so amazing throughout this story how good you can write the characters without them being out of character.
I was incredibly glad this chapter came so quickly after the last one :D I'll be so sad when the story will end. It's just so good!

I felt like my heart was in my throat this entire chapter. It was so suspenseful - everyone's (Cullens and Volturi) fear, anger, and confusion was so palpable. I loved seeing Bella be so strong and really take control of her power to save her family (seeing Jane bear the brunt of it was particularly fun). And I've said this before, but I really love the connection between your Edward and Jasper. They are awesome together.

Oh, thank you!! It's really good to hear that this chapter packed an emotional wallop; I find that sort of writing tough to do (i.e., keeping the action going while making sure the emotional stakes are still high). Thanks very much

You've done it again. What a wonderful ending to a fabulous alternative storyline for this Saga. I could even see this as a sequel movie as the Volturi continue their quest to obtain the Cullen's gifts into their clan.
In some ways this was more nail biting than the original ending. Great, great , great!! I agree, great to see Jane get some of her own medicine.
I don't want Twilight to end. I just love the characters and your twists just take them to the next level.
Thank you for your vision/version. It will go on my shelf next to the books as an alternative read when I want to visit the Cullens and their world.Looking forward to your finale.

Thank you very much! I cannot tell you how much I've enjoyed writing my version, and from Edward's POV (which, as you might have guessed, I prefer to Bella's ;)). I'm so grateful for your kind words, and honored that you would put this on the shelf next to canon as an alternative ending.

I'm pleased that you thought this chapter was a "nail-biter." It's tough (for me, at least, as a writer) to make the stakes high enough without going over the top. I'm glad you thought this worked. :)

I don't want Twilight to end, either. I'm not quite sure what I'll do when the next chapter is posted and this story is finished. *sniffle* I'm so appreciative that you like my story and think I've done the characters justice.
