I generally avoid political and socioeconomically divisive topics when posting on my various social media forums. I recognize that my friends, family, and business associations have widely different backgrounds and experiences that lead to widely different belief structures. I spent a week in California with a few of my sisters at the beginning of the month. We managed to plan our trip while the state was in a bit of a cold spell - overcast, rainy, and cold. Too bad we couldn't take some of that back with us. Here are a few pics.
