The transmission shop down the street from my house has a sign that currently reads "Parents, Beware of the Movie The Golden Compass." I figured that was because it was full of witchcraft (most of the sign's messages tend to be very conservative Christian). But maybe it was because the movie sucked. ;) I haven't read the book, but I'll avoid the movie.
