I found out today that I was accepted to TWU's School of Library Science! I'm really, really excited and I'm hopeful that I might be working in a library again as soon as next year. As much as I love the kids and the classroom, I feel like my real place is in the library surrounded by books and I can't wait to get back to it. It really seems like

Did you really think you wouldn't be accepted? But I know, cause I agree with you, that you belong in the library! And then you will have to read more books, because it is like required first in some of your classes and then in your job. Plus you can get a job in the library now because you ahve taught for several years!!! YAY!!! Early Christmas present :)

I'm so excited! I'm still waiting for all my info to come so I can register for classes, but yay! I'm really hoping I can get a job as a school librarian soon. I saw tons of them posted last year, so hopefully there will be more in the spring when I can apply. How cool would it be to have my own library? And to be required to read books for work? Yay!

Thank you! I'm really excited...though I know from reading all your posts that it's going to be a lot of work to go to school and work full time :)

As for dinner, yup! I'm excited to see you and Wes again. Actually, I had a dream about you guys the other night, except Wes' name was "Will." Hehe. Anyway, let me know what works for you when it gets closer and we'll figure out a day and time and everything.

my program was pure murder if you worked full-time, cause it wasn't designed for a working student at all. hopefully yours will be better.
