The Darling Dixon loves me so much, he feels he must awaken at 11, midnight, 3:30 and 6, just to be with me. Every night, it's some variation of this routine, although the midnight and 3:30 wakeups are sometimes moved to 1 and 4.

This makes mommy very, very tired.  It's hard to be angry, though, when the cause of my great sleep debt (shall we call ( Read more... )

Could be worse conversation. Ezra keeps making announcements about his penis.

We do need to introduce all these boys some time.

A dear friend of mine is getting married in Savannah on September 25th. Whether Jeff can come with me or not, I plan to be there. I'm thinking I could take a week and go a'visiting.

Ah. Savannah is our very favorite town. I know you'll enjoy yourself. Tybee Island is a neat place although since Sandra Bullock bought a home there the prices have sky rocketed. Love to walk the beach there. Need to go to the Isle of Hope. Some beautiful southern homes with wide porches and a 1 1/2 lane road with a tree in the middle. But worth the drive.Jealousy is rearing its vile head ;> And you will cross Moon River that the song was named after (Johnny Mercer wrote it - a good ole Savannah boy).

Thank ye the Lord I have not heard any of these penis announcements, because I don't think I'd be able to contain myself. It's all I can do not to laugh out loud at the heiny jokes at dinner.

Jen used to do that when she was a kid. I would wake up and she would be in bed with me or across the end of my bed and sometimes (up until she was 14) she would make a palate on the floor and I would wake to go to bathroom in the middle of the night and almost trip over her. LOL
I love that kid so much. Shes 25 and still my baby. :-}

This is one of the reasons I wish our bedrooms were on the same floor. I'd love for my babies to creep in to our room at night.

Once they're out of the cribs, of course!

This motherhood is powerful stuff.

You can hold it against Dixon when he's old enough to be guilt tripped. :)
