Is it me, or has the Oscar buzz been muted this year? I nearly forgot the show was tonight.

I guess after the Academy failed to give Christian Bale a nomination for Best Actor and completely ignored Wonder Woman even in categories superhero movies get (Best Costumes, Best Cinematography, Best Score, etc.), I lost interest. I haven't seen any of

I lost interest years ago. Right after Titanic won best picture over As Good As It Gets, The Full Monty, Good Will Hunting, and L.A. Confidential, all of which were better movies.

Ha, that sure was an odd choice, all right.

I think the Oscars were sort of muted this year, after all those harassment allegations came out. (Hopefully that will change things.)

And I haven't watched the Oscars since sometime in the early 90s, I think.

I never used to watch them very much until I started going to the movies frequently. Now I'm not going as much so my interest has dwindled. I watch the red carpet show to see the gowns but sure didn't stay up to see the entire show. :)
