I don't think you should look at is they viewed you as "not worthy." I am sure that's not. But not being a good fit and not worthy aren't the same thing. SOmetimes people see potential conflicts for various reasons, or think that a person would be bored, etc. But you certainly are worthy!
I'm sorry that happened, darlin'. But if they don't want you, fuck them, it's not your dream job after all. You know you're incredibly talented, and the fact that you got turned down for this just leaves the door open to something even better. I know this is all pretty obvious, but sometimes it's nice to hear it anyway. Much love to you.

I'd recommend writing them an email, thanking them for the opportunity, and asking them if there was a reason. Tell them you'd like to know so you can improve for future interviews. Most companies are happy to lend their opinion. Just don't be confrontational about it.
There's also the huge other factor of the other candidates for a job. Some might be *perceived* to be a better fit even if they are no more qualified than someone else.
