i still dont see what is wrong with using pedantic at a rock concert establishment of good standing like the executive office building. but maybe your right and im a loser and those words should be confined to english papers on diction and tone.

hey, i found you on the UM 2009 community- i have my music audition on april 1st, and a few months ago i got a letter saying i was "selected" to audition for the school of music. Does this mean that i am into the university pending my audition, or reccomendation of the music faculty or something? you said you were notified of your acceptence to the college before your audition- did you apply seperately to LSA? i didnt, i only applied to the School of Music, so if i am not reccomended for admission my the music faculty than i cant get in based on academics? thanks... i really want to go to michigan

what the letter you got meant was that you made the first round. they take all applicants and look at their papers and documents, if they like you, they choose you for an audition. if they like your audition... you are in. i do not believe you can do academics.

i did a double major application. basically i applied to the school of music and had an extension in my application to apply to LSA as well. i could have only got in to one of these schools, i just happened to get into both, but the decision of one did not affect the other.

i hope that clarifies things a bit.
