I am only updating because my girlfriend is a persuasive entity. There is not much to comment on, but I will proceed to discuss several endeavors I have been involved in through this week for you awful, awful people.

First, apparently my orchestra is not going to tour France over the summer anymore. Boohoo! Instead, we are going to tour the Southeastern region of the United States. States like Georgia, North Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana and a couple of gigs in Texas will be our main destinations. It is going to be not half as cool as France but I guess it is something. Beggars aren't choosers, right? (You have better nodded in agreement to my last comment. See, you are awful.)

Second, practicing like crazy for Battle of the Bands was… well… crazy. Ramsey has only been playing for two weeks, but the insane practice schedule is becoming evident, as our performance in the Drama Club Coffeehouse received good comments. Thursday night was pretty damn amazing, props to all the wonderful musicians, poets and comedians who performed. You guys rock. Except for Juan Contreras. Praising myself would be a ridiculously pedantic thing to do. So I won’t do that. But I think my bands played well.

Third, Friday is here! Which means watching Fight Club with Lindsay and watching her adorable disgust at the scene where Jack and Tyler collect of bags of human fat from the liposuction clinic. What a great movie. Edward Norton is my hero of all time. Also, on this very same date I performed in a song along with one of the nominees who was in dire need of my guitar-playing abilities. Awesome time, kind of, plus seeing old friends and exes. Yay for awkward hours.

That’s about it. Then band practice (yet again) where we laughed at one of Mike’s guitar solos in the coffeehouse, one which was reeeeeeally out of whack. Like damn man, wassup with dat note, ya heard? And then Charles tried to show me his mangina. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. And the douche bag wants to cut my bass solos! Ha! Let him try. What an awful bastard.

Allright, I have done my rambling for the day. Lindsay, I hope you are happy. I am off to bed, for my beauty sleep. Unlike two days ago, where I dreamed I was being chased by Chucky. That was really scary.
