I heard a few hours ago that Patrick McGoohan had passed away at the age of 80. I've seen The Prisoner, thanks to a roommate who was heavy into classic Sci Fi. It's got some interesting episodes, but the ending is so weird. Seriously 1960's acid-trip weird, and doesn't resolve a damn thing. I'm really looking forward to the new version, if only for Ian McKellen.

I've never seen Patrick McGoohan's work, though his face is familiar so I think I might have seen some of it in my early childhood.

As for Mr. Montalban, to me he'll always be Khan. But Mr. Roarke comes in a close second.

We've got the dvd set because tom is a total The Prisoner nut. He's got the theme music on his computer. his mp3. And on cd's in the car.
If you want to see a couple of episodes I'm sure we can lend you the dvds.

I was also surprised to learn that Montalban was 88. He always looked much younger.
