Okay, guys.

I need your opinion on something, and it's quite important.

In response to all the crazy drama and wank going on in Fandom latey (as you can see in my last few previous posts...), astute_anomaly and I have decided to create a shirt!

astute_anomaly came up with the phrase, and we're both trying to come up with a good design for the tshirt

While I personally see no problem with it, the world at large does not share my opinions. It might be safer to go with the solid black one, just so as not to stop on anyone's toes... better safe than sorry. While I agree the rainbow looks cooler, someone out there is going to see rainbow and think GAY and not be happy...

Well, I mean..I do like the fact that it does scream OMG FANDOM IS GAY, but for me, that's a good thing. I just didn't want it to come across as a bad thing..like I'm saying I'M a het shipper and hate fandom because it's gay. or something.

You know I'm the last person to have any sort of negative reaction to rainbow iconography. However, I would like to warn you that the majority of people who see this shirt will have absolutly no idea what you are talking about. I only know what "ship the JKR way" means because of your last few posts. Before them, I would have just sat there and scratched my head wondering "Huh???"

If you're looking for bold and colorful, maybe just using Red, Yellow, Blue, and Green would work?

I agree with limmenel, the rainbow does look cooler, but is definitely wide open to misinterpretation.

Yeah, I was thinking of just using random colours instead of the rainbow, just to make it look more fun and bright and curb any bad impressions and misinterpretation.

Well I answered no cause that's for me, but I agree with the others. I think red especially or maybe some other bold colors would work better. I do think some people might get the wrong idea.
