I want to think more about this, but here are some ideas for starters:

Profit, Jack; It's so lonely in prison sometimes you're happy even to see your enemies.

Actually, in a bizarre way, this is one way I can see a writer making it believeably for Profit to be actively attracted to someone, as opposed to just fucking them because it furthers his plan. He still wouldn't sleep with Nathan if there wasn't something in it for him (Profit), but I can see an author making it believable that Profit also actually wants to have sex with Nathan because of the element of narcissism I see in Jim's personality.

*stops self from babbling* I really should write up that "sex and Profit" post just to stop myself from running off at the mouth like this. *g*

I need a Profit icon...

It's more Nathan I can't really see going for it.

But then I'm stuck in Nathan/Peter OTP-land right now, and my brain will not budge.

Yay, yes, post please! I think that would be a fascinating discussion.
