You make me feel glad I stopped watching. Although I miss those heady days of the early years of this show, when everything was fresh and exciting and I was head deep in it.
I agree 100% over the show, this one (by the way, your header says 10x1) was particularly cringe worthy. It was so boring, both the nun's story and Rowena and Crowley are now so agonizingly cliched it's hard to not fast forward and I'm at the point where if I hear ONE MORE Dean Winchester tearful confession I think I'll throw something at him
( ... )
It was, I really didn't want to post any more negativity in your journal, but I was eye rolling at the confession - what the hell, again Dean? How many more times!
And show really should watch The Musketeers if they want to write realistic nuns, those 17th century marvellous firebrands are far more in character with every nun I've ever met and I was convent educated.
I don't mind negativity on my journal at all hun! Dean's confession annoyed the hell out of me (I was doing a lot of my own eye rolling!) and then it became a discussion point and I was intrigued by it (why on earth Dean is scared of dying now is just plain weird).
I agree. It's become a joke really. I'm trying so hard to stay positive, but after episodes like that it's so hard to be. Some aren't as bad as that one, but overall the consistency with the characters and story telling is woeful. I thought Dean was going to be going through something important, but nearly every episode has been some soul searching confession and it's getting tiring.
And I don't get the turn around. He could potentially kill Sam , so I have no idea why he isn't doing everyone in his power to stop that. Instead he's ignoring it (and brushing of Sam. Again). Instead he's concerned about dying? *head shake*.
I blame Carver. He needs better control over the overall story lines.
I was hoping there would be a new one next year, but I've heard no word on that. Fresh blood might help.
