I enjoyed this Meta thoroughly. I have often thought that the end of M7 really sold what was otherwise a very uneven episode.

I'm glad you enjoyed it!

This was my favorite scene from that episode, but then again I tend to favor emotional/mytharc-related scenes/episodes no matter what. I expected more from the season premier, maybe unfairly because it would be virtually impossible to duplicate the drama and emotional intensity of "IMToD". Regardless, this Sam and Dean scene was fun to pick apart.

I have often thought that All Hell Break's Loose 1 should have been the Season 2 finale and All Hell Break's Loose 2 would have made a great season 3 opener. But when you don't know if you are coming back or not I can see why Kripke wouldn't want to do that again to the fans. He might be lynched for real if he had. That said he seems very gleeful in his planning of our final cliffhanger which he claims will be the biggest yet. I can only flinch in prepartion

One thing I really hate about LJ is you can't go back and correct an error or a misspelling. You either have to delete the post (if it will let you) or leave your embarrassment to sit and rot.
