How far Food For Thought has come from its original outlet along North Bridge Road...back then it was a small, quaint cafe that was also a social cooperative. UPDATE: OMG. My training just told me I AM THE FIRST SINGAPOREAN FEMALE FOR THE HALF MARATHON AND THAT I CAME IN 17TH OVERALL IN THE WOMEN'S OPEN CATEGORY AND WON RM200!!!

So just before the marathon, I got sent to Shanghai on a work trip. Specifically, our company had a booth at Marintec - Asia's largest maritime exhibition. The trip was certainly an eye opener, not so much from a work point of view, but from a cultural point of view.
