My Dad (Paul H. Valentine) died peacefully on Monday December 1st after a four year battle with a rare auto immune disorder (MDS). He was tired and worn out. We are very sad, but completely supported his decision to go on hospice care. There was just no way for him to regain enough strength and health to enjoy life anymore. Jury duty this week. I was picked to serve on a county criminal case, opening statements are this afternoon. Yesterday was long and tedious. Caught the bus early -it was still dark out. Back from London, jet lagged and brain dead. Overwhelming and inspiring pretty much sums up the trip. But on the personal side, I lost almost 8 pounds while I was gone.
