I am wary about the current job market. I have no idea where I will end up, even after I complete graduate studies. Will I have a discipline-related occupation? -
Testing the LJ for iPhone app
Hello,
This is a test, just to gauge whether or not my decision to install this app was worthwhile. Since it was free, there is really no reason I would delete it. I don't see myself using it often, but that's alright. I have a couple of apps that I consider clutter, because they are rarely, if ever, used.

This is a test.
I am testing out the Livejournal app from my phone. Now, I can post entries from here if I do not have access to a computer and, for some reason, really need to write. Thanks to the bluetooth keyboard, this will be just another convenient way for me to do this.

Writer's Block: Arts v. smarts
Many world-class artists are also intellectual geniuses. They have a passion and an affinity for the cultured phenomena of the world, whether these phenomena involve theoretical constructs or real-world abilities. One affinity usually leads to another. Oh, my answer is as solid as can be. If I was afforded the opportunity to travel back in time, I would love to see Mozart perform. He is my all-time favourite composer. -

Writer's Block: Go to the head of the class
During lectures and meetings, I prefer to sit at the front where I can hear the professor/speaker and interact with him or her. I sit in the back only when and if I arrive late and there are no vacant front seats. -
Writer's Block: Sick day
The ideal situation when I'm sick is to go home to Mommy, where I would likely be told that I should rest and take a break from work and school. What usually happens, though, is that I happen to get sick when going home to Mommy is impossible because of schoolwork. In those cases, I just work and attend classes as usual ( Read more... ) -
Writer's Block: Peek-a-boo, what to do?
I'd have to confess that if my partner or friend left an email, journal, or other private piece of writing open, I'd look at it. I not only would do that, but I'd read the entire thing.
