RL: I've been sick this week, you guys. UGH. Felt like utter crap, and just the week when I start actual work! And of course, because I'm not suffering enough, my period also starts. Yah, I loved my body this week. Can I just flip my finger at myself? >:[

I hate hate HATE when the chick gets all confused by her emotions and doesn't know how to handle her feelings for the guy and decides the best course of action is to go out and hook up with some other random guy!

LOL I must have read one of the same fic I'm sure! XD But it turned out okay, and I'm sorry it was a turn off for you. :( I don't like cheating and other things you mentioned but I think it was okay there was a lot of lead up to emtional confusion in my opinion...a little odd after the fact (I think it was more the abrupt change in thought and the way the writer handled it that more bugged me).

Reeeaaaally? Lol, we would be incredibly in sync if it was the same fic...does it start with 'S'? (for SSHG, obv)

There were heaps of reviews praising the author, and y'know, fair enough, I'm not saying the fic is crappy or ruined beyond repair- but it's an automatic turn-off for me, personally. I have such stringent demands, lol, random hook-ups are at the top of my DNW list. >_<

And some people enjoy more realistic storylines that incorporate issues people deal with IRL, but that's not appealing to me- fanfic is about ESCAPE from RL! It's therapeutic fantasy! I don't want angsty or annoying RL issues messing it up!

Because we went from a hug and it was all squeeful and flaily, to her waking up in bed ( ... )

Yep. Sem___ ;D

OMGosh. You haven't read the next part(s)? GO READ IT NOW. It is already somewhat 'better'. *flails at the ___ at the ___*

I felt sorry for random boy. :/

Although it was so sudden that it didn't seem that well-written to me
Yeah that's what I was trying to get across with my bit of 'abrupt change' in HG thinking after the fact. it would have been better if she stayed until the next day THEN regretted slowly. I think the writer was rushing themselves.. :/

But still, read the next bit!!

*clings to you*

Yeah icon is pretty perfect.

Lol, HIGH FIVE, BRAIN TWIN. *squish*

And...damn you! I was determined not to read it after that abomination of a plotline, but your mysterious ____, it's making me curious! *flails* Why am I ruled by my curiosity, I want to knooow now... *glares at you*

Yeah, but random boy got to have sex with a pretty girl. So. I don't feel that bad for him, unless she was mean to him the morning after. It wasn't like they were in a relationship and she broke his heart, after all, she picked him up for meaningless sex, so I can't imagine his feelings were hurt.

(this is why I'm mad at Artie for being an asshat to Brittany- seriously, we're supposed to feel sorry for him getting to score with a blonde bombshell? Oh, cry me a river!)

Damn you, I will read the next part, but only when I have regained my composure. I was flailing in annoyance all weekend over this, so it's too soon yet! (on the bright side, The Coward's Kiss has been updated, and that, I am fairly confident, will not disappoint me- it's been utterly flawless so far, so I shall have ( ... )

Aww, I hope you feel better soon! *hug* I was in the same situation last week, ill and then its that time of the month again.

Oooh I might have a go at that meme (I'm just in the mood to meme :D)

*hugs back* Yeah, I'm not sure about feeling better anytime soon. I managed to piss off a whole bunch of people in quick succession so I'm feeling rather sick atm. God forbid I have an opinion on something and express it. I didn't even diss her to her face, but apparently that's preferable and somehow more polite than discussing my personal feelings on my journal? IDEK. I know nobody likes to read criticism of their work, but it's a bit much to insist that nobody register any reaction to their work other than approval and praise. JKR doesn't go around getting angry at people who don't like her books. (of course, it helps that she's a millionaire, so why would she care?)

And...sorry to dump that on you, I'm just feeling frustrated. *sighs* Have fun with the meme! It certainly inspires spontaneity- I wasn't going to post for a while and then saw it and couldn't resist!

Aw, that sucks :( Try not to worry about what other people think, you expressed your opinion and your entitled to that just because other people don't share your view doesn't mean your opinion is wrong. Just try to ignore them hon if they critisize you for saying what you think then they're just immature!

I don't mind, you vent away *hug*

Thanks for that, it helps. *hugs* Thing is, I made a mistake, so part of the blame is on me, but the way it exploded into this huge thing is really annoying and I'm not taking all the blame for how it turned out. *sighs* Anyway, it's over, I'm putting it behind me, I'll move on.

It's just a shame that it's made me feel so badly about my OTP. I've felt kinda weirdly tense when reading fic for them now, after all this drama. *headdesk*

I'm not a huge fan of Harry Potter, and I'm definitely not involved in the fandom, but I have to say I love the idea of Ron/Hermione. Anyhoo, what really cracked me up was the idea of them breaking up because her animangus was an arachnid. LOL : D ( ... )

IKR? That's just so funny and I like it because it doesn't cause too much angst, it's nobody's fault. Plus. The idea of the look on his face when she transforms...AHAHA. :D

It seems to be worse right before bedtime.

IKR? Like, I'm glad it's not too bad when I'm out and about in the day, but it's annoying how you just want to relax and get some sleep but it keeps you up all hours in misery. *hugs*

There are so many other ways to show a "tough" woman's femininity than the stupid hairdo or the tight ass clothes or the disposable 'boyfriend of the week'Right! The annoying thing is that Castle's generally quite good with the character/plot development,so it baffled me that the creator would say something so stupid! Would he say that Castle's wearing a new type of jacket and that's evidence of some character growth on his part? Perhaps wearing a tie would indicate massive developments or something? *eyeroll* No, you just get that kind of ( ... )

Oh my goodness that video is hilarious. Loves it. Emma Watson is definitely my most recent girlcrush, and I have been totally captivated by Tom Felton lately haha. He's so funny and cute and it's weird ( ... )

IKR? I've been on a vid-watching spree, just all the Emma goodness makes me twirl for joy! :D And yes, I've become strangely captivated by Tom Felton as well...his accent's so interesting, I listened to his segment a few times, it was just cool!

I don't expect chicks to be chaste, lol, it's not the Dark Ages, but when writers mention how they lost their virginity, then I want it to make sense, y'know? Like, Hermione and Ron having sex post-DH? Totally makes sense, I can see that- they were finally on their way to becoming a couple in the book, they ironed out a lot of their issues and expressed their feelings and it was out in the open, finally. But otherwise, no, don't buy it.

I agree that during school and especially during DH it is OOC for her to have lost it to anyone, especially Viktor. I get so creeped out by that even though like you said, teenagers are becoming sexually active younger and younger. It just wasn't that kind of relationship and she wasn't that kind of girlThank you! A lot of people use the excuse that teens ( ... )

IKR? I'm like, Americans would totally have bombed his ass the first time he rose to power.

Then again, they might have funded the DEs if there was oil to be had... :P

Yeah, that would've made more sense than Harry's suicide-by-Voldy. He's damn lucky it worked out, but it annoys me 'coz he had no idea what was supposed to happen. Like, what if he ended up dead for real and the war was lost? And he didn't even take out any DEs with him!
