Frak you, ff.net. I finally get back online and want to post my new TLW chapter to
Where I Follow but DOCUMENT MANAGER IS DOWN, YOU SAY? You couldn't have had this hissy fit OVER THE WEEKEND? When I was trapped at home and couldn't get online, you didn't wanna chuck your wobbly then?

You're like the 3rd person on my f-list today to mention Leverage though so I think I might need to check this show out. I do not need to get hooked on anything else but for Timothy Hutton I will make an exception.

You know, if it weren't for that teeny bit of black, you could almost imagine she was naked. :D ['k, who am I kidding, we don't need suggestively cropped icons for THAT, lol]
And yes, few people have any idea what I talk about. I love that you stick around anyway. *squishes* I just feel so angry with the world, though, because I want to talk CM with you but I haven't seen the latest eps. *frowns* The dude at my d/l site finally put up ep 20 but I can't get to that til the weekend, ack.
Ooh, Leverage is a phenomenal show! I love that they're these slick professionals, except they're kinda not, hee! They're not BUMBLING FOOLS by any means, because I can't stand shows where I don't respect my team ( ... )

I dont think its just your computer, LJ has been kinda slow for me today.
OMG, can we not talk about Paget naked? I need to keep my wits about me.....I'm writing : )

HA, you say that then use this icon?! *brain fries*
I'd call out against the censorship :P but the mention of writing? *zips mouth shut on THAT subject* Far be it for me to sidetrack the muse. ^_~

I couldn't really get into Leverage... IDK, the female lead was just so bad ata cting int he first episode I stopped watching lol.

Lol, good thing I didn't start at the beginning- I came in towards the end. Female lead- dark haired chick with the accent? She's actually my favorite now...*hides*
In my defense, I think I was almost CONDITIONED to like her because the ep I saw featured the guy getting shot and her holding him frantically, angsting over him. My shipper reflexes kicked in...
It's hilarious, though, that you think she's bad at acting because the actress is occasionally called upon to play the character as a bad actress, so then from your POV, we have a bad actress pretending-but-not-really to be a bad actress and...*head!splodes* It's too much!

That blond chick would be Parker. [No first name!] She irritated me at first, but she's okay when you get used to her. Her personality is just hard to handle at first. I think it's funny that the little blonde baby doll is one of the toughest characters on the show, lol. WEIRD.

I must be the only person to resent the Easter break. I have so much to catch up on around here!

Did you get actual time off for Easter? I didn't.

Wha-? *confuzzled* How do you not get time off for Easter? We have Easter Friday and Easter Monday. Pretty much EVERYTHING is shut down, which is irritating because I love my Sunday newspaper with its magazine liftouts and I didn't get it this weekend. *wibbles* But my celebrity interviews! My movie reviews! How can I function?!
And today I'm down in the 24 hour computer labs because the library is shut- apparently due to an Easter TUESDAY that I was heretofore unaware of... O.o

YOU dared to call the phenomenally talented Claudia Black a REJECT and desperate?! Dudette, so not cool.
BUT I see you have learned your lesson so I'll forgive you. ;)
Also...SQUEEEEE!!!!! at the icon. It is WAY fabulous! :D
ETA:
Uh, you do realize that technically the Zanga should probably be speaking a Spanish dialect...since the Plateau is technically in South America. :D :P
Yes Marguerite is found of the shinies...but as an end to getting herself out of debt. Vala just liked them cause they were shiny. :P LOL

I just really hate change- I did the same thing with Criminal Minds, loathed Emily, ranted about her for days but now she's my favorite, just like with Vala. Embarrassing as hell to realize how prejudiced I was at the beginning, but ah, well, look at the character growth.
SQUEEEEE!!!!! at the icon. It is WAY fabulous! :D
'tis indeed! From her post over here. Apparently I get 50% of the credit for my awesomeness at...*coughs* enabling. :D
technically the Zanga should probably be speaking a Spanish dialect...since the Plateau is technically in South America. :D :PWell, don't look at me, I'm not in charge of the dialect they use on the show! I guess the writers didn't want to make up a language, so they just used some random island language and ( ... )

I checked out your friend's post with the prudy shiny iconage. :D Very good stuff.
Well Marguerite had that locket and probably always wondered about her parents. Vala knew hers well.

'k, you bring up something that's been bothering me- Marguerite says to Roxton that he doesn't even know if that IS her name, but...that's the name on her prized locket, isn't it? If she's not sure that's her name, does she think it might not even belong to her? 'coz that's weird, considering how much sentimental value it has for her. *confuzzled*
Vala knew hers ALL TOO WELL. *smirks* I loved that she kept that box of trinkets. She hated him so much, but at heart, she was still that little girl who treasured the gifts from her father. *squishes*

Australians have slang?? *giggles* :P:P
ah, another gossip girl fan!! That show is my secret guilty pleasure. It is not as sappy as OC but is is light enough not to get too involved and just to admire the cool clothes :P:P

What I like about GG is that it doesn't take itself too seriously. The OC was all so angsty and over the top, GG is light and fluffy and I can enjoy it on a shallow level. :D I admit, I don't watch for themes or values, it's just the pretty people and yes, the awesome fashion!

Doesn't take itself too seriously- exactly! OC made you feel like those teenage dramas are the end of the world, Gossip Girl is just about some teenagers having some crazy time... Those shows are like the soap operas for our grandmothers and mothers- some time without thinking and just enjoying :D

OC made you feel like those teenage dramas are the end of the world, Gossip Girl is just about some teenagers having some crazy time...WORD. This is what I was trying to articulate- there's heaps more drama on GG [come on, bankruptcy, blackmail, near-rape, incest, drugs, binge-drinking, pseudo-murder and that's just the tip of the iceberg!] but it's handled in a much more light and breezy way, things are crashing down around someone's ears and there's angst but still a bit of humor, you know? It's not like DOOM AND GLOOM, OH, WOE IS ME ( ... )
