... I think I might be getting my life back again. It's Day 2 of having my boss back again (and therefore no longer being boss-person myself) and I'm on cloud 9. I LOVE HAVING A BOSS!!! *bounces* And to make this fandom-related... I think I finally get why Kara didn't care that much about being CAG. Because hello, it is WAY more fun to be the ( Read more... )

So this means that the evil one-eyed tyrant might survive after all? I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing ;)

It's great that work is starting to calm down for you. Soon, all the stress will have gone, and you can dance with all Clark's enthusiasm at the sudden inundation of free time :)

Oh, the tyrant lives large and in fact spent a good hour or so at my desk today...

All the stress will have gone you say? Not quite yet... I'm still managing 12 books (average workload is 4-6 books).

Congrats on being de-minioned! I prefer being minionless myself, what with being uncomfortable delegating (if you want something done right...) and with worrying over authority (minions cannot learn how young I am *eek*).

I'm always asking this, but ...asta77 and wisteria_'s posts have S3.5+ spoilers, yes? I really need to catch up.

Ah, yeah, I had the age issue too. I was managing someone who had at least 20 years on me... By sheer necessity of extreme volume of workload I got rather good at delegating. Of course it was usually done only once I'd reached the crying with hysterical laughter stage...

And yeah, sorry, I think those posts DO have 3.5 spoilers. :( They def'ly have ones for Razor at least.

Unfortunately for me, I am not about to be de-minioned (it's part of the job description), but at least they don't have 20 years on me. It's more that ...some of my student workers are probably my age. *is young, also: dropout*

Of course it was usually done only once I'd reached the crying with hysterical laughter stage...

Oy. I'm very glad for you that your boss is back now, then.

Yay for getting your life back!!

It took me a lot longer than you to realise that I am no CAG either. I must admit I a lot kinder to the CAGS these days as a result though.

Thanks for the recs!

Woo-hoo, Bop's coming back! I hope you have some time to catch up with yourself too, I'm sure LJ isn't the only thing you've had little time for. Still going to yoga?

I can feel it beginning, the long hiatus is heading for a close. Again, woo-hoo! There's BSG love coming out everywhere! Come join in! (And thanks for mentioning my little post.)

As for SV, I keep rewatching your vid. The end makes me grin all the time, like this icon.

(They are so gorgeous, like really.)
