My thoughts have evolved a lot further than this thanks to some great meta discussions already, but I've had little time to pull them together into a post. I see a few others unlocking their posts--I want to rec a bunch of great ( ( Read more... )

I am full of inner squee over Deb's story. SO VERY FABULOUS! And Dexter belongs to Rita, of course :D

But a moment of "What??" hit me with "Dexter" and I can't get rid of it. May be I am misunderstanding.. When in the last episode Dexter deleted the video files he didn't delete them from recycle bin too (at least we didn't see it). I prefer to think it was just left out but this little thing grates me.. As if it isn't well thought-through..

Ohh, yes good pick-up. Though I've seen that so many times on TV--it seems like television just chooses to ignore the existence of the recycle bin. Very daft! If any show was likely to be more accurate it would be Dexter, but I guess it's just like every other show in this regard...

I heart Deb SO MUCH. The fact that she's getting character growth is so pleasing!

I hope the horrendous-ness goes away soon *sends over Apollo to lock everyone up in the brig for your entertainment*

added: I came across this 2 minute Lee character study vid on youtube. It's really good (at least I thought so) Here's the link if you're interested Lee - Break

Ohh, thank you! That vid is by my friend bananainpyjamas! She's such a great vidder! :D And yeah, I think it's a wonderful Lee character study, especially as an exploration of his anger and drive to keep fighting. I like that it shows Lee at his most externalised (rather than my introspective melancholy in 'Middleman').
