Yes, I am pleased with the Ledger being back too! The structure is strangely comforting and it forces me to keep my eyes open in fandom for new stuff (which is definitely good)!

August is my least favorite month of the year for the exact opposite reason, it's too hot! So, I'm definitely not sad to see it go, either. :)

The thing making me happy today is that the heat seems to have broken this week, and my guy and I are headed to the farmer's market (one of last opportunities before autumn)after work today. Yay!

Interesting -- I feel much the same way about February. For a short month, it can feel depressingly endless, and dark and grey and cold. And I actually like winter -- in December, the new snow is simply beautiful, and the quiet hush of January makes it my favorite month. But February is when it feels like winter is just never going away. Though the ice storms do make all our tree branches look like sugar candy, and given our current heat wave, that doesn't sound so bad

Blackberries!!! *envious* Oh, how I wish berries were less expensive here. I adore them and I can just never afford enough in summer--they have such a short season.
