I've never cast off using a tapestry needle - I just use the knit one, knit one, pass knit stitch over, knit one, repeat method. You'll have to show me the tapestry needle method some day at the Bookshelf!
It's a tubular cast-off that ends up looking very similar to the tubular cast-on on the other edge. It's really simple, and gives a nice, flat edge. It's my first time using it.
Emily and I had a nap, so now it's time to keep on casting-off. I really want to get this done - and probably delivered on Thursday (no rush, hehe).
