one day closer
The situation has gone from bad to worse, I'll spare you the details but I'm entering week 7 of being displaced from my apartment and am not being let out of my lease. I keep getting "any day now." Hobodom is a sucky surprise
I am staying the night with Travis and Marcy, we're leaving early for a camping trip tomorrow and, oh yes, there isn't electricity at my place. I was shut off by the fire chief due to a small fire in the basement. Nobody was hurt and no damage other than smoke has come to our belongings. I just hate to be without my own kitchen again. I am in Vermont, I spent the day rolling around in Maple Syrup as a haggard old men place bets on when I'll start crying. I rise early as there is no telling when the rice milk will finish. Caffy asked me to carry her bag of recycling from her apartment. I took it to the bins and noticed a printer in the dumpster. I grabbed it for ewaste disposal at work and the next thing I knew we were both in the dumpster building huge piles of unopened packaged food, partially used bottles of beauty products and other things that can be donated to ( Read more... ) -
