While Batman had a very serious moral objection to both Booster Gold and Blue Beetle being in Gotham alone and unsupervised, let alone together and unsupervised, he had to admit they had been useful in their own special ‘look, we’re shiny and noticeable, ignore the man in the cape’ way. Joker, Harley, and all of their henchmen had been subdued and now it was just a manner of making sure they’d still be here when the cops arrived.
Robin and Booster had already made short work of tying up the henchmen, mocking them cheerfully as they did. They were, in Batman’s opinion, getting along entirely too well for his liking. He didn’t think he’d seen Robin look quite this amused in some time and that just didn’t bode well. Booster and Beetle were like mold; they latched on and then managed to annoy you for all of eternity. If they managed to recruit Robin to their side he’d never be rid of them.
Beetle was patting himself down, apparently in search of something, and muttering under his breathe in annoyance. Batman rolled his eyes, reaching for his belt and another set of handcuffs, just as something hit the ground with a muffled clatter.

Booster spoke first, tone slightly bewildered. “I suppose there’s a lesson about why we should actually watch the monitor when we have monitor duty here.”
